COGEMACOUSTIC ventilation in Norway

COGEMACOUSTIC® is part of the ventilation of the highway tunnel excavations on the Lyngdal project in Norway

COGEMACOUSTIC® ventilation is present in Norway on the excavations of the Lyngdal highway project. Norwegian road operator Nye Veier has chosen Implenia and Stangeland to carry out a section of the E39 motorway project. The E39 Lyngdal east-Lyngdal west route is part of the new E39 Sørvest development between Kristiansand and Stavanger. It connects Herdal and Røyskår in the municipality of Lyngdal in Norway.

About 10 km of four-lane highway will be built, of which 6.2 km will be double-lane tunnels, bridges and level crossings. It is in this context that Implenia has chosen to use COGEMACOUSTIC® ventilation equipment in its excavation operations. And it is not just any fan that is used, it is a T2 3x200kW model mounted on a container, built in 2006.
